TELEGRID Technologies, Inc., a New Jersey USA based business that specialises in the manufacture of tactical mesh network radio products, has appointed C4i Pty Ltd as their Australasian distributor.
TELEGRID’s mesh network technology (called WZRDnet) provides network on the move capability, with intrinsically safe, low power, portable handheld units. The system supports voice and data communications between individual handsets over distances up to 64km with no permanent infrastructure providing true “Talk 
Without Towers”™ capability. WZRDnet handsets are one quarter the weight and have four times the battery life of traditional portable radios. Additional features include embedded GPS allowing end users to utilise live position location information.

TELEGRID has successfully delivered their products into the US public safety and defence markets with systems in use by the US Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. WZRDnet was also selected by NASA as one of only ten wireless technologies included in their Innovation Ecosystem.
