Clear, confident and effective communication is necessary for Police Officers to continually protect the safety of the public. As radio devices are extensively used in Public Safety – proper integration is paramount. Officers need reliable communication with other officers already at the scene, officers currently being deployed and arriving in vehicles, as well as personnel residing at the base station.
Operators in the control room need simple, effective system interfaces to work with quickly, and with ease to deploy, instruct, monitor and respond. C4i provides mobile and fixed Operator Positions, as part of a wider system, that enhance the coordination and integration of all radio and telephony communications.
Also – in the event Police need to converse with other Public Safety organizations, such as Ambulance Services or Fire Departments, C4i’s system makes this possible through Radio over IP (RoIP) technology.
